Set a default persistent table space
First, make sure you create a permanent table space.
Then you will need to modify the Oracle database to use the persistent table space as the default persistent table space.
To set the default permanent table space in Oracle, you can run the following ALTER DATABASE operator:
ALTER DATABASE DEFAULT TABLESPACE tbs_01;
This will update the default persistent tabular space to use tabular space tbs_01.
You can run the following query to verify that the default persistent table space has actually changed:
SELECT PROPERTY_VALUE
FROM DATABASE_PROPERTIES
WHERE PROPERTY_NAME = 'DEFAULT_PERMANENT_TABLESPACE';
This will query the Oracle system tables and return the default permanent table space value.
Set the temporary_permanent_tablespace to default
First, make sure you create a temporary tabular space.
Then you will need to modify the Oracle database to use the temporary table space as the default temporary table space.
To set the default time table space in Oracle, you can run the following ALTER DATABASE operator:
ALTER DATABASE DEFAULT TEMPORARY TABLESPACE tbs_01;
This will update the default temporary tabular space to use tabular space tbs_01.
You can run the following query to make sure that the default temporary tabular space has actually changed:
SELECT PROPERTY_VALUE
FROM DATABASE_PROPERTIES
WHERE PROPERTY_NAME = 'DEFAULT_TEMP_TABLESPACE';
This will query Oracle’s system tables and return the default temporary table space value.
