SIN( number_id )

- number_id – is a number, coal sinus in radians.
The SIN function returns a numeric value.
The SIN function can be used in the following versions of Oracle/PLSQL
Oracle 12c, Oracle 11g, Oracle 10g, Oracle 9i, Oracle 8i

SELECT SIN(3) FROM DUAL;
--Result: 0.14112000
SELECT SIN(5.2) FROM DUAL;
--Result: -0.8834546
SELECT SIN(-5.2) FROM DUAL;
